In my recent experiences at PJ shows, you are not allowed to bring them in, but they are sold at the merch stand, so plan on spending a couple extra bucks if you want one and you get there in time.
I brought one into the Buffalo show, but there was a brief conversation between a supervisor and one of the guys who checks you before you enter the building. Better off just paying $2 for a new tube in my opinion, avoid the potential hassle. The posters they brought outside were 'sold out' at around 545-600. Once inside each merch booth had a whole bunch, but try and get to a booth the minute they open the doors because the line ups got long VERY quick. Enjoy the show!

Thanks everyone! I think I remember now they had tubes when we saw them at the Spectrum, I was SO HAPPY to buy one! I've always used a complex system of plastic bags and rubber bands to protect my precious posters and the tubes are so much easier, just have to cradle a poster tube in my arms while I rock out
We'll definitely be there when the gates open, I have posters from every show we've seen (started late so I had to pay some serious $$$ for earlier shows) so I'm kinda weird about it at this point. None of them framed of course, but I do occasionally get them out and gaze lovingly at them for a while.
thirdjackson - thanks for the heads up about them selling both outside and inside. Very helpful!

they sell them for 2 dollars there so i assume so
At Buff and Pitts you couldn't bring them in but they sold them at merch stands.
In Pitts the posters were sold out by 7:00. Didn't check in Buffalo.
