    Already with this, eh?
  • it's time to rehearse "Undone" and add it as a staple.
    I agree.
    :D
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

Wow, they don't do a pre programmed set list, the same for every night like most of the bands do. They have a huge song base. I remember Ev saying sometimes he has to do some practice because he forgets all the words. No shit they have hundreds of songs!!
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

I'm firmly in the "play whatever you want" camp. Having seen some other bands more than twice on a tour, I feel Pearl Jam has this under control.

yeah, that's great. They've pretty much played every song they've ever written over the past two tours.

What do you want them to play? Mary Had a Little Lamb?
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do

so there's no room for discussion or even hoping in this area? even in a strictly "i wish they would play _____" sense?

what's it like being so uptight?

I think they should play their hits. Don't forget not everyone who goes is a full time fan like us.

Imagine them playing a show like Vic at a concert for everyone, and you may be the average punter who likes betterman, even flow, daughter etc etc and you get none of them, It would be the worst concert ever for them.

I believe imo that those singles should be staples at a concert with the other songs varying. That would be how you would convert an average punter of pj to a full time... Unless the are a connoisseur of music like a critic or who knows what is going on.

I think this is a given. They're pretty fucking good at mixing it up. ESPECIALLY compared to any other band on the planet.
  • i just feel a bit like they've been playing similar sets with each tour...

i want some no code damn it.

i want to hear tremor christ.

    +1

I am bringing a buddy of mine to DC and he only likes Ten and Vs. He wants to see songs like Animal, Even Flow and Alive. The hits are a must; us die-hards are just tired of them because we overdose on PJ frequently.

I would enjoy Wash as an opener in DC though ;)

they've played it at almost every show i've been to. it used to be awesome. but now with boom...well..i won't start that discussion again..
