Read all of the Buffalo and Pittsburgh stories. Lining up super early did NOT help many people. I showed up at 4:00pm in Buffalo and was 2 to 3 people deep in front of Jeff. there were people in our line who were there at 8am and I think I ended up closer than them. Just be sure to be close to the doors once they open. I think if you show up 2 hours before doors, you;ll have a good chance of being close. If you want the rail, well, maybe be a bit earlier.

  • In Buffalo, there was a couple who got there by 6:00 a.m. I arrived around 8 and was the 8th person in line; I know for a fact that the first 10 of us in line got rail...after that it was a crapshoot. After waiting in line all day outside, there was a mad dash to wait in line inside around 5:45. Once inside there were maybe 10-12 temporary lines/ropes set up. By being their early, the first people in line outside, were for the most part the first people in line inside. Once those ropes dropped, it was a mad dash down a hall way, through the back section of the floor, to the pit. Nothing is guarenteed, but unless you're there super early, I don't think it matters whether you show up at 10:00 a.m. or 5:30 p.m. Best of luck to you.

That's really interesting. I had envisioned a fairly well-organized GA line (and had actually be planning on setting up shop fairly early). Now wondering if that even matters. From the pics, the GA section has looked kinda small...

On the flip side, since I'm not looking to be right up front but more like 15+ rows back in GA...I shouldn't have to worry about getting in line before 7pm, right?
