Just got home from the Buffalo show. My wife and I had behind the stage seats and they were possibly the best seats I have ever had. I have done the Pit, lower level on the side, lower level behind the Pit ect.......These behind the stage seats were amazing. The sound was spot on, and the band is well aware that we are back there and play to that fact a lot (especially Eddie). Don't have any doubts and enjoy!!!!

    Agree 100%.

We had Side (Mike) Stage for Buffalo.

Eddie was back there all the time giving it to you guys.

The bonus was 'Small Town' entirely facing the back.

I think this is something they will be doing even more of as this during progresses.

Any more testimonials from behind the stage. I have enjoyed side stage before and never regretted it but I have never experienced behind the stage. Price wise it certainly is very attractive, especially for NY shows.

done it for other shows....its awesome, you see what the band sees, and you have your own speaker stack so the sound is perfect

Can anyone speak to upper level behind the stage? The lower level behind the stage seats do look fantastic, but I have no idea what to expect with my sec 218 seats in Worcester tomorrow night.

Bands should never sell behind-the-stage seats. The uniqueness factor wears off quickly, i'd imagine. You pay too much money to get less of an experience than 95% of the audience.

I have upper back seta for Broklyn 1 and I hope they will do the same they did in Buffalo :) That was simpy amazing !
  • Can't speak for the uppers in the back but the lowers were simply kick ass!!!!!! And no, the "uniqueness" did not wear off. If you don't think bands should sell behind the stage, don't buy them. For myself and EVERYONE around me, thank you Pearl Jam for selling behind the stage!!!

I was behind the stage in Buffalo as well and couldn't agree more. It was great to see Matt (fucking) Cameron doing his thing so damn well, and being able to see what the band sees was too cool. As was mentioned as well, it felt like Eddie was very often turning around to sing in our direction - felt like a mother hen checking up on her little child! Was really spectacular, and while I went in a bit disappointed, I left with a totally new perspective on behind-the-stage seating.

  • Strongly agree... I have been to over 80 PJ shows and Buffalo was the first time behind the stage and it was a cool perspective on a PJ show. I had a blast rocking out and watching everyone on the rail go ape shit crazy! Of course, I would love to be in GA too but if its a choice between behind the stage and not going at all, then it's a no brainer.

Don't worry about him, he's probably just upset at the seats he's got so he feels he should rain on your parade. It's a shame people have that much time on their hands, or are that lonely or low on self esteem. Oh well.

I have seats in the back fro N2 Brooklyn. Can't wait to check them out and see what it's all about!!!!
  • Dude..wasn't trying to hate there. Actually have ga tickets for Friday but I've been behind the stage for every garden show before that.
    U know what assuming does?
  • I sat behind the stage in Tampa in 2000. It was one of the best parties of my life!
  • Im sitting LAST ROW behind the stage for Brooklyn 2...
    I couldn't be happier...
