Hey guys, my brother and I have been working on creating a Pearl Jam setlist site that's a little more usable and informative than Pearl Jam's own site. For those of you follow Dave Matthews you are probably aware of the DMBalmanac.com. It's an incredible site that has everything imaginable related to DMB shows and stats. Our site is similar, although we can only hope to provide as much information as those guys do some day. For now you can check out each show they have played along with statistics of each song's plays during their career and tour. It makes it easy to see just how rare a show is.

So please check it out, I think you'll like it. There are no ads, we aren't doing this to make money, we just wanted to see this info since it didn't exist before.

We welcome any feedback, hope you enjoy!

    Looks cool!
  • Just realized the last show link wasn't working right, sorry! Last minute update messed it's working fine now. Thanks for the feedback guys, if there's anything else you notice please let up me know. Hopefully we can update this during, or shortly after shows...but this week we'll be at the shows so we'll be too busy enjoying the music!

What does THIS YEAR mean? I mean, why does each song say "__ of __" and it's usually the same number (1 of 1, 3 of 3).

If it just had a number, then I'd think it means how many times it has been played live this year. But the "7 of 7" makes it sound like it has been played 7 times at 7 shows. But Even Flow at Buffalo says 7 of 7 and we know it wasn't played in Pittsburgh.

    So what does that mean?

Other than that...I love the site!

  • So Even Flow says 6 of 6 in Buffalo which is correct but I can see what you mean, maybe we aren't clear enough. It does mean that is the 6th time the song has been played during the tour, with the second number being the total plays during the tour (so Wrigley's Even Flow says 5 of 6 since it's the 5th out of 6 so far this year). Make sense? I just updated the column to say Song Count, which hopefully is clearer but I'm open to suggestions on how to make it clear.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Nope looks like we missed that, we'll get it on there. We used pearljam.com for our shows and setlist data and we realize they have missed shows and songs. As we get time we'll get try to research for completeness.

Thanks again everyone for the kind words.

Can you make it so that if you click on an album category it will show which songs? For example, at the Wrigley show it says there are 8 cover songs but I only see 5. So I'm curious what the other 3 are.
  • Cool site.

From a touring perspective, I would not include the summer shows and Wrigley as part of the Lightning Bolt Fall Tour.

I really like the 'venue' page. Great to be able to see what they played at each specific venue.

  • Just to address some of the feedback...

Right now the venue pages are not 100% accurate, as I know some venues have changed names, and others I have in there twice because of slight changes in the way I inputed them. So eventually though all shows played at Mansfield, MA for example, would be on one page...even though the venue has had 3 different names in recent years.

I agree with the feedback on the tours. For now we thought it would be easier to just list everything by year, and not by tour. Eventually we'll break it out by tour.

MK13579, thanks for pointing that out. I used the albums that Pearl Jam listed on their site, so they listed Leatherman, All the Way, and Setting Forth as covers. I'll change that. It might not be easy to edit the graph so clicking on it will list the songs....but I'll add it to the list of things to look into eventually.

    Thanks for the help guys!
  • OK, we have fixed some of the album associations (like Eddie's songs are no longer cover songs). Also added a few missing shows and songs. Keep the suggestions coming, thanks!

Very cool. I love using dmbalmanac.com, so this will be great for PJ shows. I'm sure it's a feature that would come down the road, but are you going to add a login option, so you can add your shows to your profile and keep count?

Also, I know dmbalmanac stays open through donations. They usually just require you to donate at the minimum $1 to get a membership. I'm sure most people here wouldn't have any issue donating to help you out once you get the membership thing worked out.

i haven't looked at your site yet, but i've been saying for YEARS that pj needs a dmbalmanac type site. if you guys can accomplish even a third of what the dmbalmanac has you'll be the best live pearl jam reference out there. if you need a meat & potatoes contributor (research, data entry stuff, basically), i'd be happy to volunteer.

edit: ok, i looked at the site and damn, dudes, fanfuckingtastic job. i am beyond excited for this to finally be happening.

Very cool site. I like that all their songs can be seen on one page split up by album.

cool website!! It would be cool if there for current tours. Songs yet to be played. Limited to PJ originals from stuff that was released.

Is there any way to sort songs by amount of times played? I'd like to know which album tracks have been played the least. It's surprising to see some songs like "No Way" and "All or None" only played about 10 times. Now I'm curious what the most rare album tracks are.
