barely close but not quite touching or full-on
maybe some running or smoothing waters over
collapse goes the seizure
but just not yet
between us is only seeing each other
the burn from desire melts the pieces that stay
ready
steady

first suffocate to noises I don't often hear through cracks in clouds that thick
bent into arms that hum like softened angels glow
surrounded we are
and spell bound together

so happy to see you again in these lights
so rarely I see you
I don't want to go
and forgo all the scatters in fields where they matter
where every poem
is delivered
with passion
