General Admission Confusion

Hey
So, they start distributing tickets at 230 and doors are at 630 for Brooklyn.
Does this mean one is to show up at 230 and wait around (because you can't leave once you get your tickets) for the doors to open at 630?
I understand I could show up and get my tickets at 630. But are they anticipating people to show up at 230 to try and get to the front of the stage?
Just curious

Well, go back and look at the Missoula setlist thread from last year and you'll see some of the issues with GA and lines. Like the poster above said, there will be self-regulating lines, so nothing official or with security if past shows are an example. This would clearly be tough in NYC and Philly were many people are... what's the nice way to say this... "not used to politely accommodating others"?
But I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you are dead set on being on the rail. You can always move up in GA, just wait for the Even Flow bathroom rush and head towards the stage.
