Concert Camera Policy - GoPros ?

Not saying that i would do this... but I have thought about it for other shows.
What is the policy on bringing a GoPro camera to a show?
Is it classified as a professional camera? There is no detachable lens, so that makes me believe it isn't considered 'professional'.. But you can get 1080P video..
If you are close enough, you could theoretically mount it somewhere and record the entire show. There is no zoom, but you would have an awesome wide angle..
