I may buy this pair of tickets on Craigslist and the price is pretty good for the section. The guy says he can meet my friend in person to sell them to him tomorrow.

Can anyone tell if they're legit by looking at these pics?

Thanks.

Burn a corner with a lighter. If it turns black and doesn't burn like paper, they're for real.

Read through this thread. From the looks of them, they don't look real. Especially since the section info is blocked out. The guy that they confront in the video selling tickets on craigslist is selling tickets for a section/row that doesn't exist.

From personal experience, whenever I've bought/sold tickets on craigslist, I always do it at the venue just before the event so the person has the confidence of knowing they'll get in.

P.S. From the security features mentioned in that video, the line next to the barcode is different so they're fake.

They look weird. Ask the Guy for ID and write it down, or make him/her to sign something stating that they are authentic. Make sure you write down his ID info or take a picture of it.

You shouldn't post bar codes either.

    good luck
  • They are bogus. Two main flaws: 1) the black line under the bar code should be above the barcode 2) The Barclays center address should have more info...

the barcodes are definitely the tell, the black line is in the wrong spot
  • They look fake to me. Entirely different font than my legit TM tix.

Also, as others said, never post ticket bar codes in an image.

Alright, sounds like they're fake, figured it was too good to be true.

For what it's worth, I was the one who blocked out the section number, not him, but I didn't remove the bar code cause I figured that might be a way to see if they're real.

If they're clearly fake should I just leave the pic up in case someone else might fall for similar ones?

Yeah, so even if they were real... the bar code can be duped quite easily from the picture, then it comes down to whoever arrives first.
