Alright, that's a first in a lifetime of looking through albums for me. Never seen anything like that before but I can't blame Bo'B for that one. I'm pretty much with you on all your criticisms of the guy but I'd bet he had absolutely zero to do with the album layout/artwork/design. Don't have it in front of me but I can assume that was all Jeff/Ed. They're on his nuts and clearly that's what the band wanted. That goes for the end sound and production as well. Whatever qualities you or I dislike about the record may be Bo'B's negative influence but PJ is ultimately calling the shots and approving it all.

    Agreed

    Wind this thing up.

  • My one complaint, actually two.One- the video version of Sirens sounds much more together n grounded guitars seem to be heard more , where the cd version piano seems to be the carrying instrument.2- no matter how it came out, you DO NOT retread a song after your longest hiatus between records EVER and have the indusrty's number one fan base of die hards. If not Of the earth which seemed to be well liked, thought it would be that brain of j tune, one played live a long time before making the record yet finally put it on cd, than something else!.A mid tempo or rocker would have fit. They had 21 songs?. Not any of the 9 were worth trying than an already had song?? N by the interviews that decision was clearly based on BoB.You even get the sense from that article the band didn't initially want that on there. It took some persistence.Huge let down for me!!this fan base treats every new song, any new track, new release like a present under a Christmas tree n SBM was like seeing the pack of sacks not wrapped with just a bow on them.
I'll keep taking punches until their will grows tired..

When I read from a review of PJ's Lightning Bolt party in Germany where it was said that BOB forced PJ to add Sleeping By Myself on the record, that shocked me very much!! Why couldn't he force PJ to put it on a B-side? Or a Christmas Single? It just had to be on PJ's new album. An Ed song that was "officially released" just a few year's ago on Ed's Ukelele Songs album, and played live many times during Ed's '11 & '12 tours.

The one & only flaw that I feel in my heart about this PJ record that BOB produced.
    Everything else is A+.

The things I do not like about this album are Brendan O'Briens fault. Lose the Casio keyboard. Lose sleeping by Myself and make them pound out a finished version of Of the Earth. Then stop making albums that run out of gas half way through. Oh and Infallible would have been and will be epic live when it sounds like real guitars. That being said Pendulum is awesome. Also please make sure Ed knows Future Days is not a Pearl Jam song.

I would have to agree with this. Not sure its BoBs fault though.
Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.
