Really bad day...

I know this May not be the right area to post this... But I figure most people check here...
I need some help with my office!

Need computer advice‼️

I had a SECOND hard drive crash... I spent all last night and the entire day today on the phone with tech support recovering data from the drive...

Now I am stuck with needing to install my office software on new computers... I have one existing XP computer left, but I am told it will not network with new windows 8 computers... I need at least two computers here, so do I buy two new windows 8 computers?

Or for now I could take my home computer (which I believe is windows vista or windows 7) and bring that here to network with the other XP computer??

I need these computers for daily office use mainly to just run the office software and fuck around on the internet...

This is something I need to set up for a long time... But I hear windows 8 kinda sucks... So maybe I should keep the old ones for now??

Anyone have a clue??

Also once I install this I need to map a network drive to set up workstations... Anyone know how to do that that could help me when the time comes?

Also... My iPhone touch screen stopped working so I can't use my cell phone... So don't call me...
