I cranked Chost on the drive to work today

Decided to listen to Riot Act.
Ghost came on and immediately the tone grabbed me.
I cranked it up loud.
Lump in the back of my throat, teary eyed, I was fully emerged.
I will repeat this on my drive home.

It was a combo of tone and lyrics. I haven’t listened to Ghost like that since 2002. I forgot how much I love this song and the whole Riot Act album.

Finding hope in ways I missed before.


I believe Pearl Jam is the only band that speaks to me lyrically.

This is why I love Pearl Jam. Thanks Guys!

    Ghost is a great song!

    I feel fortunate to have seen it twice out of the 16 times played.

    It didn't sound very good in Missoula compared to 2003, but was cool they played it!

    Ghost, Get Right, Cropduster and Green Disease are all very underrated IMO, and sound great any time I hear it, either on the cd, a bootleg or in person.

    All you "holy grail-ers" I'm there with you. It's the only Riot Act song I've not experienced live. Gotten Arc twice, but no Ghost.

    Two lines I think of immediately with the song:
    I never knew soap made you taller.
    Bring it on, cause I'm no victim.
