Ok people,

Lets try and make the ULTIMATE setlist from all the European gigs.......

Opener has to be:

Inside Job - Dublin (cause it opened the full tour)

The Boys are Back in Town - Dublin (only time played and fucked up)

Alive - Reading (purely for the tears!!)

....over to you.....

I'm jumping to the first encore, but it has to start with acoustic set from Zagreb:
Thin Air, Thumbing My Way and All Or None

I would Def put Black from Dublin in there but there seems to be some disagreement about the best version of black from other venues....milan I believe is amazing!!

Why Go in Arnhem - It's a great version where the audience sings the first 'Why go home' bit.

I listen to that at least twice a day.

That sounds like I'm a bit obsessed with it... In my defence: I walk to and from Paddington station in London every day... 30 minutes each way. Why Go keeps me going, even when my joints don't want to anymore ;) (Although my heavy duty painkillers are working a treat now, which helps too! Anyhooooo)
    Like a cloud dropping rain
    I'm discarding all thought
I'll dry up, leaving puddles on the ground
I'm like an opening band for the sun
  • Well if Black in Dublin can't make the list - it's ok DEFINITELY does
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life
Had I not found this love with you
  • so we're looking for a hungerstrike, a baba, a rockin and a ledbetter to close a setlist of about the best 30-35 songs...... my personal favourite ledbetter that I saw was praha... mike does some tapping at the end and goes really cheesy... at ed's suggestion...
  • I'd put in

    Crown on Thorns - Reading
    Tremor Christ - Torino
    Green Disease - Leeds
    In Hiding - Madrid

    Gotta be in!
    London 1996, London 2000, Manchester 2000, Astoria 2006, Leeds 2006

    I would pick

BLACK + Indifference in Antwerpen - it was more than world-class, one & only (made Eddie cry!)
BETTERMAN - Arnhem (feat No Woman No Cry)...perfect! + RELEASE, STATE OF LOVE..., WHY GO: loud singalong...shouting crowd
LIFE WASTED, INSIDE JOB, LAST KISS - Vienna - not just unforgettable:D

but I am not a relevant fan 'cos I wasn't part of the touring bus 2006 for an entire month!!!:) The starter of this thread should ask them!!!
