If Brooklyn GA 10C tix are only given out the day of the show, then how are tix being sold through StubHub for $5000-6000 via UPS? Doesn't that mean that the sellers physically have the tickets presently in their hands?

Shady business.....

  • Stub hub is a reputable business whether you'd like to believe It or not. All buyers are protected. If the $5,000 ticket is fake, the buyer will get his or her money back. The seller must have a valid credit card on file to be able to sell. Therefore, any attempt to be fraudulent is fruitless.

    Why are you so angry?

Never angry. But why would a reputable business engage in selling tickets via UPS if said tickets will not be available until the day of the show?

    Simple answer

Stubhub isn't selling the tickets the user is, it's like eBay is eBay selling product? no, users are same thing happening here, stub hub is just a middle man
  • Ive used stub hub many times for all types of events. I once purchased concert tickets on SH and received a phonecall from them a few days later stating the tickets I bought were limited view but didn't say so on the site. They asked me if I still wanted the tickets or to cancel my order. I thought that was a cool move.

Also, people can list their tickets for $1,000,000 on SH, it doesn't mean someone is going to actually pay that!

I don't endorse selling tickets for over face, but I am also not naïve enough to think it doesn't happen. I'm not sure how anyone can be shocked.

BTW - as a Mets fan, Stub Hub is great. After the all star break I can usually get awesome field level tickets for about 80% off the face value
