Metallica - Through the Never

Anybody else going to see this?

Me and my long time Metalli-friend are going to see it here in a couple hours. Looks pretty awesome I think.

    I was lucky to see it at the world premiere on September 9 as part of the Toronto International Film Festival. Metallica was there, and so was actor Dane Dehaan and director Nimrod Antal. There was also a Q&A after the movie. Great experience.

    I was at the Vancouver show (s) it was filmed at. I live next to one of only 2 IMAX theaters in Vancouver and apparently its not showing here. A little chuffed.

    A friend of mine, who works at a movie theatre, wrote this on Facebook today:

    "Well done of the day lady comes with their child with a Metallica IMAX tickets thinking it was Thor the dark world lol!! Did u know that Thor comes out November 8th u idiot!"

    I may be wrong, but I think it was released at select theatres on Sept 27 and wide release first Friday in October.

    You'd think the city it was filmed in would be a select city, but I'm not in that business :lol:

    Saw it tthis afternoon. I enjoyed it, didn't realize there would be an actual story involved though. Thought it was just a documentary, but the songs went well with the story. Also the visuals were prett cool in 3d and IMAX.

    Me and my bro sneaked in a couple six packs and sat back,enjoyed the show ... I mean movie. it felt like being @ a real metallica show though. I loved every minute of it. Definitely going again this week

    I actually did ask a question, which starts at 15:45. Put the volume louder as it is hard to hear what the fans are saying.

    Cool, did you guys know it was being filmed as a movie? Did you have to sign a release or anything? Kinda funny with the "Spinal Tap" moments going on througout the concert :lol:

    Never got a chance to go see the movie yet, but picked up the soundtrack and its great.
