Anyone here use Lumosity.com?
I started the free version a couple days ago and I'm tempted to pay for the full version.
Thoughts?
Impressions?
Opinions?

    Never tried it.
My opinion is that instead of 'brain-training' on games, why not just do something productive?
I would try to learn how to write computer code before I tried Lumosity. -> codeacademy.com or something similar depending on what end item I would want to code to run on.

I use it in my job for rehab following stroke, brain injury or just for high functioning older people with some cognitive decline. I see amazing results with these people in improvement in memory, concentration, fine motor (use of the mouse), visual perceptual skills. The puzzles are fun and it's really nice that it adjusts the difficulty level according to performance...so it allows the user to start wherever they are and progress as fast as they are able. I enjoy it myself and think it is worth doing bc everyday tasks may not challenge our brains in the same ways depending on the things you do on a routine basis. Definitely won't hurt and it's fun.

That's cool that you use it for those with neurological and cognitive issues. I've been doing the free version for a couple of days now and I think it's really fun and a bit addicting.
I might just try the pay-version. I guess I can cancel it if I'm not getting anything from it...

It is fun. I do it myself also and it is addicting. I figure I can use all the help I can get in the memory department.
