THe stadium wasn't selling well so the obvious thing to do is bring in another big name who can bump the ticket numbers up a bit. From a business point of view the best way to do that is to choose a band who attract a totally different audience (why do you need to attract people who already have tickets? it's a false economy), so Linkin Park it is.
I won't judge til ive seen them, can't be that bad. At the very least it'll be a laugh.
