Hey guys!

I know this is a Pearl Jam forum, but I figure there has to be some Nine Inch Nails fans here too. I would post this on their forums but their members really aren't that active. I have 3 tickets to the show on October 1st, at the Chaifetz Arena. I have 1 that is through the NIN Presale and will allow us entry to the show 15 min early and 2 GA Floor that were bought through the venue's presale. I paid right around $100 for each of them, but would be willing to negotiate a great price for anyone that could help me get rid of these this late. I will have to meet you at the venue because all my tickets have to be picked up at the Will Call window.
I realize this is last minute, but all my friends backed out and stuck me with the cost of all these tickets. It's a very long story but basically don't ever agree to cover the presale of tickets when they are for your ex girlfriend and her friends. The simple story is that I trusted her because she makes an incredible salary and we have been friends since our breakup many years ago. I know most will say I should have saw this coming, but I really didn't.
I have been pretty active on here lately with poster trades, sales and giveaways. I have members that would readily vouch for me and my integrity.
We can work out something as far as receiving payment as well. The NIN Presale has a strict no resale policy so we would have to work out payment before we get to the Will Call line. I don't know how strict the venue will be for theirs.
I also will say that if you want to bring your friends, you are not in anyway obligated to stay with me once we enter. At this point I am planning to make the drive down alone and come back that night. I live 4 hours away and it really isn't that bad of a drive. If you really wanted to make a trip of it. I do still have a reservation at the Courtyard Marriott (4 blocks from the venue) for a 2 bedroom suite. It cost me $235 and we could always split the cost. I know that might be kinda weird to be sleeping in the same room as a guy you literally just met in person. Especially if you were to see how crazy and hyped a NIN show gets me.

Here is a link with some more information on the tour: http://tour.nin.com/

I hope to hear from anyone out there that might have been on the fence about going to this show. As I have told my friends, the closer we get to the show, the lower the ticket prices will be. Thanks guys for giving this thread a look!

Best wishes,

Simon

Yeah, this has been a very expensive "lesson learned". She hasn't said she won't go but considering no response after 3 weeks of 30 texts, 40+ phone calls and 5 Facebook messages that I can see she saw, I can safely say I am being ditched out. At this point, if I sell them she will not be going and no worries that I will let her if someone here shows interest. You are in if you want them!

I got stuck with Arcade Fire tix a few years ago and I vowed to never put out money for friend's again (girlfriend only). Sorry to hear it happened to you too, but enjoy the show!

If tthere was any way i could make it down there i woulda bought them from you. Seen nails 4 times and they ate awesome, plus i hear the current lineup alongside trent is fantastic. I have friends who just saw them in MN, they got let into the venue early and the band served them dinner before the show, no joke!
Somebody take these tickets off this guys hands, you wont be dissapointed!

I have the tickets to get in early too! I have to make the trip now if Trent is going to serve me dinner. No joke! Just don't want to make the trip alone but where I live is full of people with bad tastes in music.

I dont think trent served them, he wasnt in their pics anyway, but the rest of the band had pizzas brought out into the lobby and hooked my friends up, awesome move by them! If you do end up going and dont find people for your tix im sure you could find people willing to buy outside the venue, last nonfestival nails shows i was at i sold my +1's at face in line... the tix were going 300+ on ebay so the look on those peoples face to get them at face was priceless, far better than the few hundred i coulda made ripping somebody off on ebay/stubhub

Mine are NIN will call and I can't scalp them. They escort me inside the show and will not allow anyone that appears to be scalping theirs. I love their policy so crap like Wrigley doesn't happen, but makes it impossible for me to honestly sell them when something like this comes up.

Good luck man. Even if you don't unload them, enjoy the show. This new tour is supposed to be great. I'm going on Friday. If I lived within 6 hours of St. Louis I'd be there. Have a great time.
