Sorry if someone has already posted about this, but I was looking at a Lightning Bolt review where the person timed the tracks. I wanted to see how this would match up with PJ's previous albums, seeing Backspacer was sooo short!
Here is the order of longest albums length to shortest:

01. Vitalogy - 55:30 (includes Stupid Mop)
02. Riot Act - 54:15
03. Ten - 53:24 (includes Master/Slave)
04. Binaural - 52:05 (includes Writer's Block)
05. Avocado - 49:44 (includes Hope)
06. No Code - 49:37
07. Yield - 48:37 (includes Hummus)
08. Lightning Bolt - 46:22 (secret track?)
09. VS - 46:11
10. Backspacer - 36:38

I was totally surprised at Binaural being one of the longer albums, but there is a long gap between Parting Ways and Writer's Block isn't there...
I'm just glad that we will have longer listening time thank Backspacer than what we had with LB.

Is that 46.22 official? If so I did some math. I know that 6 of the songs total 22.18 so I subtracted that from 46.22 which is 24.04 for the other 6 tracks. I've heard that Pendulum is VERY short from a Mike interview so I called it 3 minutes to be safe, and the uke version of SBM is 1.53 so I called it 2 minutes to be safe which leaves us with 19.04 for the last 4 tracks, which means 4.76 per song average! So either we're in for some longer songs or we have a bonus track at the end, either is good news!

But you would think the people that got the early listens would have mentioned if there was a bonus track no?

Also does anybody know about how long Future Days ran in Chicago? I haven't listened to it cus I want to save it for the studio version.
  • I like you guys. Your crazy :corn:

So most of the run times are posted there save for "Yellow Moon" and " Future Days". So if the first 10 songs are 41 minutes, and "Future Days" at wrigley ran almost 5 minutes ... Maybe LB totals in the 48-50 minute range?
    9/4/00, 7/1/03, 7/12/03, 5/30/06, 8/5/07, 10/28/09, 5/13/10, 10/21/13, 10/22/13, 10/27/13

I'm pretty sure at least one of those track lengths is BS so I'm not sure if this is the best source. Some of them are spot on though so who knows.
