    If you "eliminated" everything that's negative, you wouldn't know what positive is anymore. positive doesn't exist without negative. and vice versa.

    also, not sure if you've ever heard of this kooky little idea called freedom of speech

    Missing my point. I didn't say, "Hey Mods, delete every negative thread." That is taking away freedom of speech. Instead, I am encouraging people to not respond to the negative threads. By responding, you are putting those threads at the top of the boards.

    No. The mods can delete every single post on this forum and it wouldn't infringe upon anyone's First Amendment rights one bit.

    But you're right, they are missing your point.

    I didn't say it's an infringement on First Amendment rights. My point is, freedom of speech isn't just a lawful protection of a right. at its heart is an idea about letting all sides be heard. the OP wants to "eliminate" the side he doesn't agree with. that's intellectually dishonest.

    We also have other threads about negativity. Please use those.

    Bottom line is that it's ok to express a criticism if it's done politely. Not everyone is going to like everything.

    You do have an Ignore option in your profiles so you can block people you just don't want to read. It's your choice.
