    Great show-and the best part for me was the fact that 10club messed up the ticket allocations and I ended up in the 8th row!

    Thought about this show today, when Ed praised Grand Rapids it makes me feel happy. Everyone knows the MSG and Bostons are always gonna be great and get praise, but to hear him say "Grand Rapids....who knew?" is unreal to me. The city where I was born, just wow. Just little me...in little Grand Rapids. There was something amazing going on that night that can't show up in DVDS or CDs but only through memories......haha. But seriously.

    i decided the day before that i was gonna drive from texas for this one. i had recently graduated from college and took a week off work. i hadnt done much in that week and decided i would see where they were playing next and if it was feasible. michigan seemed close enough. got online, found a ticket and took off. my brother was in dallas and he flew to chicago so i picked him up and continued on my way. we ended up scoring better seats, a limited edition hoodie and one of my favorite shows. i would love to see it on dvd, i listen to that boot all the time.

    What a wonderful mess up! I ended up in the 13th row. One of the best shows I have ever been too. I also liked the first seattle show in July of 98. I forget what day it was on. It was so hot that day and they made us sit through the wallflowers why we were burning in the sun. I was one person back from the stage so I didn't want to leave to get water. But it was all worth it in the end. Dang! I also liked the Idaho show in 2000. This list could go on for a while , so I'll stop.

    Does anyone know for sure if the ten club messed up the seating or the band was experimenting with seating, which is why we have the lottery system now becuase they were happy with the crowd energy and response. Just curious, I have heard both stories.

    I met some cool people at the Milwaukee pre-party, the party was great to bad the show was cut short due to some immature individuals. One of the prizes from the raffle was the grand rapids DVD. There was a couple next to me and the gentleman was extremely excited to get it but his number wasn't called. I came up to him and told him I would send him a copy of one and I did. We kinda stay in touch. I love the pre-parties, such cool people with great stories and lives. Vote For Change Tour anyone?

    Listening to a recording of this show right now never heard it before. I'm at Marker in the Sand, the band sounds good, plus they played Sad which is just a ridiculously good song.

    Haha, I actually just wrote a how-to paper on B&P's for my one class. We had to choose something we know about and write how-to directions for it!
