I've met them in Birmingham :) Apart from Chris but had my moment with him in Manchester anyway ;)

The poster was signed, they sign 4 posters for every show, just before the show, and if you're lucky enough you can get one at the merch stand :)

Very nice. You queued up early then?
I only got in before they started.
    Did you like the show?

Nope, was there late actually, we came from Northern Ireland, after work, so quite late I would say. Got it just before they started as well but we did talk to the merch guys just after we arrived at the venue.

I loved the show, didn't like the sound though, it's shitty every time when i'm there, must be the venue. The show was completely different than the other two i've seen and at the same time it closed my 'touring' perfectly. The setlist was mad, completely wild, guys were in the top form, what more do you need :) How about you?

So they picked a signed one out of the batch for you?
I liked it. Yeah, the setlist was strange-didn't play things that I thought they would, but they played very well.

    Basically, yes.

They played all the songs people wanted to hear during the other two gigs I attended. If you're lucky enough to do it, to go to more than one show, you'll hear everything you want, I guess it's very boring to play the same stuff every night but then on the other side not all the people will be happy with the setlist if they can only attend one show, you can't win here :?

Only 4 posters per show? Wow. I saw them in Manchester on Friday, got a poster, not signed but I did get number 150 of 150! Went to Brixton last night, bought another poster and the girl on the merch stand said as she rolled it up - "you're one of the very lucky ones" Paid as quick as possible, opened the poster and it's signed!! To say I was just a little bit happy is an understatement and to now find out it's one of only 4....just as well I decided to hit up Nandos instead of queuing up in the rain! Needless to say, that has jumped to the front of the queue of posters I need to get framed!

@Thierry Henry Awesome poster man. I've been searching high and low for one the last few years. Don't know what I was thinking not spending more time looking at the merch table that night!

Oh man, I couldn't understand people being so negative in the aftermath of it re. no Black Hole Sun, dim lighting, not much crowd interaction. It was like they didn't know what they were getting themselves into beforehand! I loved it. Such a great memory. Thank God they came here like!

I saw the Paris and Berlin gigs the year before. Shit sound and crowd in Paris and it was lashing in Berlin (picked up a poster which survived though). Paris set list was awesome, but the Dublin gig was the best of the three I saw. Heaps of songs they didn't play the year before, first time playing Limo Wreck since 96 or something and the band was on fire. Only drawback was the volume. Matt's snare on The Day I Tried To Live nearly blew my eardrums apart.

I wish I had a more vivid recollection of the finer details like yourself. I can remember the high points, my personal ones, like when they walked onstage, Outshined, Hunted Down, Flower etc.
If anyone wants to sell me a poster from this event, I'm right here with open arms!

Yeah I was at that Paris gig, not great! Sound was really bad and a serious lack of atmosphere. I was so glad to see them at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in Nov 2012 which was amazing, like night and day. I did grab a poster at the Paris show though, one of my faves!
