    It's disturbing to see racism still so rampant.

    I was a bit disappointed because until I looked at the link I thought they meant Indian as in American Indian. That would have been cool. I'm not a pageant fan but a First Nations American Miss America would cool!

    This is weird. Wasn't the name of Miss Universe Canada this year Riza Santos? I don't recall hearing of any racist tweets about her. What's up America? I don't really understand why a society that is supposed to be so "civilized" is still so racist.

    It's funny that almost every racist comment stems from geographical confusion about her ethnic roots, cultural confusion about religious belief in India, or ignorance about what constitutes an American citizen.

    I guess this is a pretty strong indicator that racists are also very often exceptionally unintelligent people.

    And I'm not easily shocked. I guess there are far more idiots out there than I thought.

    I know this is far fetched, but with these so called "news" channel, I wonder how many of these posts were fabricated to drum up a story. I know there is bigotry and racism from every different American, but it makes selling a story so much easier.

    Here's my favorite from that list of tweets. Jessica Ayers (with her picture proudly displayed) says " I swear I'm not racist but this is America." It seems to me I've seen this as an opening statement for many a post on the Train.
