Is it true that they cut out the audio on the webcast when he mentioned George W. Bush?? If so wow.... I have watched many AT&T webcasts before and they always edit swearing, but political views?? Damn

I'd be surprised if PJ ever agrees to be webcasted by them again

(I was at the show so I'm not sure if this is true, but I read it on another board)
  • Yes, thank you!

Who cares about the censorship (if it even was)... If it was censorship, it made AT&T look paranoid, then stupid because they censored that, but not the whole no war thing... whatever...

Anyway, I got to enjoy a live Pearl Jam concert at home... I even had my laptop on the kitchen counter watching when getting some stuff cleaned up and food put away. You can't do that at a Pearl Jam show :)

it was censorship-those ATT jackasses do it every webcast. that's why they use about a two minute delay. last year at Lollapalooza, they cut a chunk out of Sparta's set as soon as Jim started on a rant about Bush. if they can't stand the heat they need to get out of the kitchen and let someone else do the webcasting. they really need to get with the times and improve their quality, also. the Europeans like WDR in Germany produce immaculate glitch free broadcasts with far better audio quality and a much sharper picture. if you saw Smashing Pumpkins at Rock am Ring, you know what I'm talking about.
