    The set looks fantastic, the highlight for me is the complete Live n Loud DVD... I've loved that show ever since it was first broadcast. I used to watch my VHS recording religiously in my teens! Been waiting for a complete official release ever since, and here finally is. So ridiculously excited.

    So the cd/dvd super deluxe set is the only way to get all those tracks? It's too bad they couldn't put all of those in the vinyl set, also.

    Looking forward to this one... but I really hope that it isn't butchered in the loudness wars like the Nevermind box was.

    It wont be.

    Steve Albini oversaw the mastering and is very happy with it. The vinyl version is supposed to be audiophile quality.

    I can't wait for this set to come out. My favorite Nirvana album. I'm really looking forward to the Albini mixes and the Live and Loud DVD.

    Alright! Great to hear Albini did the mastering- very reassuring! Looks like a great package! However, my wallet is probably going to have a cardiac arrest when I look at the vinyl prices! :lol:

    Edit: Well, well, just checked- $49.99 USD. Not bad for three records these days.

    Yikes. Agree that $49.99 for the 3LP set isn't that bad. I gotta stop being such a cheapskate :)

    No, the 3 LP version is the original album remastered and cut at 45 rpm over 2 slabs. The third disc is 33 rpm and is the rest of the Disc 1 tracks (B-sides and comp tracks + the 2 Albini mixes for Litt tracks).

    It originated with Amazon fucking it up. I think every other site copied their info. They just repeated the track listing twice.

    If you want a great sounding perfectly pressed single version of any Nirvana album, get the ORG reissues from 3 years ago. They are still pretty much everywhere.

    I don't know of a new version of the 3LP Nevermind set from Germany. My guess is the whatever they cut for the 3 LP set is still used today. Buy the ORG single disc. You can't go wrong. Unless you want all the bonus tracks.

    Where do you think I can find those reissues from 3 years ago? I have the "Bleach" one from when it was first reissued.

    Thanks..yeah I was going by what Amazon had for the description.

    As for Nevermind, Amazon lists a 2013 single LP version. In looking on discogs the only thing released in 2013 is a German single LP pressing.

    if only they spent more time in the studio so we could get more little unreleased nuggets like "You Know You're Right", but unfortunately, we'll just end up getting more cassette taped instrumentals and poor quality demos.

    Both are amazing.
    Listening to the album for the first time as I type.
    Watched the dvd twice.

    It is available on iTunes. You need to buy the whole album to get it. It's longer than 10 min. iTunes doesn't sell individual tracks longer than 10 min. They are "album only". Meaning to get them you have to buy the whole album from iTunes.

    I bought all the other Live & Loud mp3 tracks, you mean the whole super deluxe edition?
    I badly want just this one song and I cannot have it grrr lol

    Yeah you have to get the whole Super Deluxe package to get it. If you bought the tracks individually, you cant get it.

    You could always do a "Complete my Album" of it later.
