    It's you.
  • Part of me thinks that, but then again I love that capper..

Like,... after 3 hours of playing you know the time to light one up and get ready for the end. It's just nice.
Come on pilgrim you know he loves you..

Yeah, Dublin just didn't seem right when Fuckin' Up closed - it was awesome, but it didn't feel like the end...

  • i think that YL should close all shows. It´s the perfect song.

RITFW is great but they could change it, if they don´t i don´t care.
  • No more YL or RITFW. I am so tired of hearing them. Plus all the part time fans get all excited about YL not realizing the show is now over.

I cant stress enough how I would ditch those 2 from the next tour completely if it was up to me. I love RITFW, but it's cooked.

  • I think they should switch it up a bit and close with Indifference or Porch or Fortunate Son.

I totally agree! My only complaint about the show. And I know a friend of mine REALLY wanted to hear YL, so I was dissapointed for him.

what´s the problem with that?? There´s no better song to close a show. No discussion. :-)

It's just old for me. i can appreciate that other people still love it, but for me it's just not as special as other songs. Mike does an amazing job, but I want to hear him do something amazing on something else.

Dublin is the only show I've been to, so I haven't heard RITFW and YL yet. I can't wait to hear them at my next show! I love YL, it's a great closer :)

I love those two songs and it's not a problem to hear them on almost each bootleg.
Last year I went to my first PJ shows, and I really loved hearing those songs.
Yellow ledbetter with the lights on in the venue is a very special moment, and no other band does something like that...

The regular full Little Wing tags to cap it off in the end they've got going now is just making the YL goodbye that much sweeter.

its nice to have that reassurance that at the end of the show its highly likely youll get one of those two. Or both! I see where your coming from in the fact that you want a change, but i think people enjoy looking forward to those songs- me included.

I want them to open with YL so that everyone will think the show is over and leave, then I can have my own private set.

People are actually complaining about Pearl Jam not switching up their setlist at the end? This is the band that brings a fresh show each night. What's next?

It wasn't the end, their set got shutdown early because of the Point's curfew. Fuckers. Still, hearing Fuckin' Up was magnificent. :D

  • They always have a different setlist. Other bands play around 20 songs, and rarely cover the entire career. I just think there's no need to replace YL. It's a tradition. It would be weird without it. :)
  • I love those 2 songs and I don't want that to change. RIFW is just awsome, they have to play that song all the time, but I also really love Indifference (I was lucky in Torino 06) so I am happy with one or the other closing songs...not happy with Fuckin'up:(:):)
