I'm going to the Buffalo show Oct 12th. This will be my 4th PJ show but my first time in the pit. Looking for any advice you may have.
I have been to many concerts at all types of venues over the years. I have to admit I haven't been in a pit situation in a long time. When I hit my late 20's I decided I wanted a seat and my own little space to enjoy the show. But not for PJ. I want to be as close as possible with the people who love it as much as I do. I'm 36 now and nervous about having to stand and jump and dance for 4+ hrs and still be able to move the next day!
Looking for any advice on pit etiquette, footwear, clothing, basically anything you think I need to know to make the experience awesome.
Thanks in advance.
Liz

Pee before you find your spot on the floor or you'll be in for a long uncomfortable night. I usually have a few beers during shows and then pee at the encore break. Can't do that without losing your spot in a GA situation. Guys can (sort of) get away with peeing in an empty water bottle, but I don't recommend that. The other option, which I also don't recommend, is to just pee in your pants. In the past I've done both of these (   ). At Lollaplooza '07 it wasn't because I was drinking beer, but rather because I was standing in the same spot for like 14 hours,it was a scorching hot day, and I really had no choice but to drink water. I have GA tickets to Worcester II and I plan to only drink water before the show and then empty every drop out of my bladder before I head in.
