Wolfmother: A Lost Cause?

Haven't heard ANYTHING from this band since Cosmic Egg was released a few years ago. It's almost as if they vanished off the face of the earth. I was really getting into this band once they were getting started, and then its like 'POOF'...nothing. As much as I like them, I hear that Andrew Stockdale is kind of an ass. That's probably why he's the only constant member of the band, and why there seems to be a new lineup with each album.
Also, I heard from a little bird that Jeff is really into Wolfmother, or was. Can anyone confirm this?

He had a solo tour booked, but after his album was panned and I'm guessing it was a struggle to sell tickets, he did a little name switch and rebooted Wolfmother. I saw them back in July at the first show back in LA under the Wolfmother moniker. Having seen them once previously back in 2010, I couldn't tell you who was who except for Andrew Stockdale so I'm guessing he just turned his solo band into the new Wolfmother. They played a few of his solo songs so I'm guessing that's the case. Just get everybody excited that Wolfmother's "back" and help boost ticket sales. Show was ok, but I thought they were better when I first saw them.
I don't know much about them, but I think Wolfmother, now at least, is just Stockdale and whoever he's playing with. He's the only original member left. From what I just read it sounds like the solo album started as a Wolfmother album, though by that point Stockdale was the only original member left. Then decided to release it as a solo album, and tour as a solo artist with the "new Wolfmother" basically becoming his solo band instead of Wolfmother, but from what kasedoug says it sounds like they went back to calling themselves Wolfmother.
