Kill Your Darlings (Beat Generation Era)

The new movie release "Kill Your Darlings" is based upon the book "And The Hippos Were Boiled in Their Tanks" by William Burroughs and Jack Kerouac. Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) stars as Allen Ginsberg in this true story based upon the killing of David Kammerer in NYC in 1944. These were the formative years of The Beat Generation. The movie release date is October 18th.

    This movie I'm looking forward to seeing. I've avoided watching On the Road because it is one of my favorite books of all-time...and I don't think it should have been made into a movie especially a movie with Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst. :evil:

    I hear ya, I'm a big fan of Jack Kerouac.. "On The Road" movie wasn't to bad, nothing will ever compare to the book.. I'm interested in the "Big Sur" movie coming out, love that book, will be interesting to see how they capture it . Just need a "Dharma Bums" movie now...
