I love Pearl Jam and even though I have not been to too many shows, every show I've been to rocked out!! I just wanted everyone's thoughts on Mike's sound through different tour periods. IMO, Pearl Jam has never sounded more together and on as they did this tour, but I have noticed after listening to 2000 and 2003 boots, Mike's soloing is harder to hear this tour. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this. I mean he still rocks and everything, but it was a little hard to hear him at times this tour, where as in the past he was loud and whaling. Jeff seems a little lower this tour as well. I am not really complaining, I love the band, but I hope in the future the sound technicians turn Mike and Jeff back up a little, not to the point of over powering the vocals or drums or anything, just loud enough to grab your attention like on previous tours.

If anything... i thought Jeff was sounding a little distant... not enough to complain about - but you brought it up!
Pearl Jam - Adelaide: 1995, 1998, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2014
Eddie Vedder Solo - Adelaide: 27th & 28th March 2011, Melbourne 16th 2014
So yes, take notice of this - when you can't hear the lead - just hale the Mikester...
P.S. just remembered Perth was an exception, I could hear him loud and clear there.
