Great band, everyone should check them out.
I think there's a correlation between being a teenager and loving the hard stuff, i'm just not angry enough to appericate it anymore.
I would still count Baroness as a metal band. Their new stuff is metal I think, plus they're still playing metal festivals throughout the summer.

Apart from that, in terms of classic bands I really enjoy Anthrax, although I must admit I prefer the Bush era. The new album with Joey back on it is the best Joey album there is IMHO.
Out of the more modern bands, I think Deftones are currently amazing. I find their early material to be really immature, and the rapping, oh god the rapping. Now they have cut all that nonsense out, they are great. Koi No Yokan was the best rock album of last year.
There was a good Scottish band in the 90s called The Almighty. They flitted between heavy rock, punk and metal, but their album Crank is brutally heavy and one of the best albums of the 90s.
Type O Negative
Pantera
White Zombie
Sepultura
Soulfly
Fear Factory
I just have no interest in metal anymore.
