Just realized these guys were putting out a new album on the 18th. Anyone else a fan and/or know anything more about it? I knew they were recording but forgot to check back on any details. I liked their other albums and will be checking it out as well. Too bad there's no vinyl so far..

    I like Alter Bridge, pretty much anything that Myles Kennedy does for that matter. I wasn't particularly blown away by the new single, but I'm sure there will be a hand full of decent songs on the new record.

    I love Alter Bridge! Their third album, "Alter Bridge III" is my favorite by far. I'm liking "Addicted to Pain", it's really growing on my. Even though I love pretty much anything Myles does, I wasn't a huge fan of the album he did with Slash, I just felt like it lacked his fantastic song writing skills.

    With one listen so far, I'm really digging it! It's extremely dark and heavy, even more so than their last album.
    Although I don't like it more than their last album, I think it's really good and could be growing on me. My favorites so far are "Cry of Achilles", "All Ends Well", "Farther than the Sun" and "Water's Rising". I just wish there were some slower songs.

    After a couple of listens I am pleasantly surprised, normally I prefer their more mid pace stuff, but the heavy stuff is really impressive on this one, Cry Of Achilles is an incredible opener.
