Ten club said they will have a limited release after the pre orders so check back and you should be able to purchase one in the goods section
I can't find it, but there is another thread about this vinyl and I'm pretty sure it stated that Santos said there would be NO extra copies at all......
hmm... that's not very specific. I think a lot of people are under the impression that that public sale "after the pre-sale" hasn't happened yet, just because so far I haven't seen anyone post saying they remember it happening... I know I don't. Anyone recall that sale?? That bit of the info isn't very well written - totally unclear as to whether there would be copies available on pre-sale to non-members or if there would be physical copies sold after the pressing (that's how I initially interpreted it, and I think that's what Javis thinks too... now I just don't know... although I think that if anyone would remember something like that it would likely be Javis. Since I am pretty sure he doesn't recall a second pre-sale (correct me if I am mistaken J ), I think more copies will still be sold).
That's pretty much it. I ordered mine on 24th, had to wait for the last day for funds, I ordered mine a couple of hours before 5 PM (9pm Buenos Aires) and around that time the link was gone. I ordered Moonlander on the following day, but Vault 3 link wasn't available. If it happened, it happened right after 5pm and I didn't see it.
Thing is nonmembers can post here, so we can't ask them. Then I waited for updates, and as boyo79 says, there was no update so far. Then I checked again on Sep 1st, no news either.
I learnt during this presale that many had ordered extra copies on different orders, you should look up that specific thread. I would have liked to have a spare for the same reason Alli said, but I couldn't afford it at the time, and a non member acquaintance of mine was interested in this, so I paid close attention. To sum it up, the extra copies available for non members after the presale, to me, didn't happen, and if it did, I missed it completely.
... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...
Not one offer yet. I guess that means there won't be a single one on eBay after they're shipped?
People might just be waiting until they have the thing before thinking about selling it.... and of course most people would want to wait and see what the reaction is and what the demand is once people (yup, flippers) do start selling. But if it makes you feel any better, even if I were someone with an extra I was willing to sell at a reasonable price here, I wouldn't offer it until I actually had it. People just like to know what it is exactly that they are selling.

there were a few available on the bay the day this started, of course those listings were removed when they found out that the pre sale lasted until June 24th.
You should look for the original thread on the porch and read the whole of it to find who ordered to and send a pm to them...

You sir, might be onto something. I'm pretty sure these aren't going to be as valuable as some might hope considering they were made to order on a multi-day pre-sale (which makes me an ever bigger dumbass for missing it). I think some people are expecting another Benny. I still want to lock one up sooner than later though.

These for sure won't be like a Benny. The numbers for the pre-order weren't limited, and as far as we know they aren't numbered, and the show wasn't a special acoustic set like Benny Hall was. They might end up reaching the values of original studio albums or something eventually, or maybe at par with the PJ20 soundtrack. At least, that's my guess.

I think eventual value will depend on if they offer another Vault release on vinyl. I don't think it'll reach Benny prices, but I could definitely see it being more valuable than any other release. Look at the price of some of the pressed to order stuff that Jack White has put out.
Perception tends to be that everybody that wants one, orders one but there are already people looking for this and as the years pass more and mor people will be looking for it. Also, a large portion of the people that are buying this release are buying it to hold onto it so that'll put fewer on the market.

True, but vinyl has also never been this trendy, so way more people are buying records then ever before. They're also buying more with the expectation that values will go up, hence all the people that purchased multiple copies (you can't tell me everyone who bought two just wants a "spare" for when the first one wears out). In fact, ironically, it's that exact mindset that will most likely keep the value on these down. There will be more out there. It's possible that making a deal on one now would cost me more than it would after they hit the eBay market. Then again, it might turn out the other way around. Like I said before, I could be wrong.

I agree. My guess would be more along the lines of PJ20. Either way, it'll be doable.
No way dude this never had a public sale, there are thousands and thousands of pj20s out there, they were sold everywhere vinyl was sold. This was 10c only and made to order, I can def see this reaching close to Benny! Also we expected a limited public sale that's now not happening.. This will fetch big bucks, easily more then any of the studio albums!! Get one fast if you can

I guess there was a day or two at the end of the presale that was open to public.
Benny value would be a pretty high estimation, but I agree it'll outdo any of the studio albums. No one can say til these get out in circulation and we can sorta estimate how many are out there, but some of the estimates seem like they're way overshooting it. We don't know how many they pressed of the studio stuff but imo preorders for this aren't gonna be close to the numbers for any of the studio albums.

That might be a little low considering it was a multi-day presale and people were able to buy multiple copies.
But that's beside the point... Still looking for a chance to grab one. I'm starting to lose my faith in the "help each other out" mentality that seems to be so outwardly prevalent on here. I honestly thought someone would step up and help out a fellow long time 10 clubber, but it looks as if its more like a "help each other out after I find out the secondary market value so I can get top dollar" mentality. Which is totally fine by me, I just wish people would call it what it is and not be so hypocritical about the whole merchandise flipping thing.

I really doubt there were very many people who bought more than one copy, because when we bought it it said right on the purchasing page that it was one copy per member. It turns out that you could order more with individual purchases (with separate expensive shipping for each), but I can't imagine that very many people knew that or were into paying so much for shipping. Anyway, I am kind of surprised you expected people to sell before they even have the item in any case. We don't even know what it looks like or how it's packaged or anything. People need to know what it is they are selling before they sell it, obviously.

I think that the last few days of the presale were open to the public and not just 10c. Not sure 100%, just basing this on the wording of the on sale notice, which I and many others thought to mean there would be a small quantity available upon 10c receiving them. Does anybody know of any non members that got in on the presale?
I would think well over 1000 were made, but who really knows. The fact that there aren't 100 threads on the Porch wondering where it's at makes me wonder if even fewer than I would've guessed preordered.
We don't even know what it looks like or how it's packaged or anything. People need to know what it is they are selling before they sell it, obviously.
My point exactly. The fact of the matter is that some people bought more than one, that much is confirmed. As for your other point, it's a three record set of a live show at Constitution Hall, right? What else is there to know? What's the difference between buying an extra sight unseen vs selling one, unless you're specifically referring to the value?

That is just how most people would feel I think, even if they would consider selling at face value. I have actually never once seen someone pre-sell a pre-sale item. Yet I have seen people sell stuff at face value plus the shipping they paid, soooo... At this point, you're kind of sounding like you are calling any potential sellers greedy jerks for not offering it to you sooner. I hope you're not ruining your chances!

I never said anyone is a greedy jerk. And I'm pretty sure my chances of scoring one are exactly the same as they've always been.
Don't come on here begging for an item at face value.
Wait until they start showing up on that auction site and
buy one that way!
That's what I've had to do in the past for every item I missed out
on getting during the regular sale.Sometimes you win, sometimes you
lose.
Where the hell were you when this was on presale for many, many days?
You've got no one to blame but yourself.
You should be on this site every day and tuned in to when stuff goes on sale.
It's not rocket science, for christ sakes.
I've missed out on lots of limited items over the years here, because I drive
For a living and don't have access to the site when something pops up
for a short time.Posters mostly, but plenty of merch too.
And other things I've missed out on because I didn't have the money
at the time they went Onsale.

Ease up bro. This was what the OP originally said...
"Just throwing this out there: all correspondence will be kept private (until I let everyone on here know what a badass motherfucker you are for hooking me up). So if anyone wants to PM me with what you think a fair deal would look like, I'm not here to judge. I'm the one in need here."
Asking for a fair deal isn't begging for face value.
"I did what I had to do. If there was a reason it was you..."
Ya know... Here's a little idea for ya bud..
Some here prob remember when I would post up "My $$$ FT / ISO Stuff" threads. I would just throw out there say for instance... " Who wants the $300 I have right now to spend! Watchya got for for sale!? " (just a paraphrased example, not saying $300 for what you're ISO!)
And I would just LOVE IT! Would score so much awesome stuff! Most people here are now DEATHLY afraid for some reason to post up things for sale! Too many arrows being shot by everyone around here lately.. (More like 6+ months its been this way) Lots of hate, shit talking, ass kissing and witch hunting!
It was fun when Lost Dogs was just page 1 & 2 FULL of of awesome deals, high value, low value, we were all rotating doing giveaways, you can buy something great, you could buy something silly cheap.. But it WAS chock full of collectors changing collections and money making merch money! And JP33 was just telling it how it was!! Face with stuck-out tongue and winking eye
Then the lottery came.... And THAT didn't fuck this place up, but the reaction and result was the LD forum having all that crap spill into here... The mods haven't much helped either, (not bitching ladies, I know you've had your handful and I'm probably just as disgusted in us as we) but by not moving threads out and enforcing certain rules about which is the right place for ticket iso's etc... 50%+ of Lost Dogs Posts is all the same bullshit and 90% of those are all fucking fighting with eachother.. Lol.
So sorry OP for the derail... My point I wanted to help you out with is.. Throw a number out there!! You say right now, >>EXAMPLE ONLY! $100-$150 for your Vault 3lp... Dude, you have it done in An hour! They are all lurking, but if they come OUT, people are going to lynch them QUICK, so.. They remain scared and lurk..
Even as dedicated and serious you are about getting this Lp, people are still prob afraid to even pm you an offer of say $100... Because as a result of how this forum is now, they're scared that you might turn around and out them publicly bc they didn't offer something at face!!
It's a sad state if affairs around here lately but true.. I swear Mind your Manners was written to us

Did you take the time to read the whole thread? This is getting out of hand and completely off topic. Let me clear things up here before we can all let this thread sink off into the abyss to die...
I missed the pre-sale for whatever reason. Maybe I work a job where I'm away for days at a time, who knows? Maybe it's not really relevant and that's why I didn't feel the need to explain myself. The fact is that I missed the pre-sale and take full responsibility. I've collected PJ vinyl for a long time so I thought I'd come on here and see if anyone could help me out. Throughout the course of my thread, certain things came to light about this record set, specifically that people were able to buy multiple copies, which I thought would increase my chances of working out a deal for one. At no point have I asked for one at face value. In the past, there have been some idealistic discussions on here about how great it would be if everyone who wanted a certain item could get a shot at one, which in theory is exactly what a pre-sale is. So when someone like me misses out and someone else gets two, these ideals can still be met, even if it costs me more than the original selling price. What really grew my frustration though, was not that I wasn't having any luck finding the record, but that people were saying some douchy things that made it clear to me they were only concerned about the maximum eventual value of these, despite these not even having been shipped yet. Like saying the price just went up when I heard from Santos that there wouldn't be a public sale and telling me people wanted to see what they had first before working out a deal. I'm totally cool with that if that's what you want to do, I just wish there wasn't a holier than thou attitude around here at the same time when it comes to this exact topic. I'm not begging for anything and I don't judge anyone for wanting to wait and see what the eBay market is on these. Hypocrisy, however, bugs the shit out of me. I understand that I have no idea if these are the same people or not, and I certainly don't want to lump everyone on the boards into one category, I just expected something different, whether or not I ended up landing this vinyl.
I guess I'll see you on eBay (which I thought everyone around here hated).

 Wowsers. I haven't really noticed any of this... I think LD is still largely very friendly and most people are getting along just fine. Sure once in a while people get testy (as always), and I have noticed that the vinyl has dried up a fair bit and there are more people seeking tix (without negativity), but besides that, it's like you and I are looking at two completely different forums.... although this particular thread isn't going too well, I will give you that... but it really only changed in tone when the OP started getting pissy (sorry OP, but that really is how it came off) about no one offering up the item he or she is after, so the direction this thread took kind of makes sense to me, and probably would have taken this turn at any point in the history of LD, all things considered. But normally, LD is one of the most friendly and cooperative boards on the forum IMO, after the Other Music board. Holy grail threads, people bumping each other's threads, etc. So yeah, all I am saying is that I have no idea where you are coming from on this topic. And just think you are dead wrong about why people aren't offering up the item - that theory of yours is a little bizarre. I think you are reading WAY too much into it man.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
you and I are looking at two completely different forums
In our own personal views, yes. You are correct.
LD is one of the most friendly and cooperative boards on the forum
WORD!
I have no idea where you are coming from on this topic
Correct again
And just think you are dead wrong about why people aren't offering up the item - that theory of yours is a little bizarre
I respect your opinion here, and anywhere else for that matter . But, that is 50% (imo at least) of the reason they (we) are not offering them up YET, and then of course because of not having them in hand, and /or knowing what the **value** is yet... First ebay sale of this Lp is being HIGHLY anticipated. As it should be, that's a GOOD thing. That is a fact... As a collector, and more importantly an owner of any specific item. It is such a great feeling knowing that you own a piece that many others want, and it increases in value, and continues to trend upwards, that just gets a ya all gitty and proud of your collection man!! At least for me it does..
I think you are reading WAY too much into it man.
I don't believe so..
I will say this though.. which is pretty self evident. I went off on a kinda rant here in this thread (apologies again KC) but that was more so MY opinion on ALOT of all the other threads here on LD that have been dominating this portion of the board as of late.. Maybe it was that douche tool response over on 3days awesome charity contest on the Porch where that inconsiderate, sour grape sucking, feckin assclown went off saying it was rigged and pouted bc he didn't win! That was fkn shameful.. And there has been a lot of that type of attitude around here lately.
That just burns my ass..
Again, to the OP.. We've spoke..... Good Luck in your search buddy.
"It's so nice to hear that in other parts of the world, the stress- borne from envy- that one finds for themselves is the animosity they develop towards a person selling a box of records. How fortunate!" ~ Thirty Bills Unpaid
This entire thread has been unexpectedly exciting. Thanks to all of you who got my back, both publicly and through PM. I've never been called "pissy" before, so maybe I'll reconsider my tone next time, but I stand by everything I said. I didn't realize my search for a yet-to-be released album would end up being so polarizing.
And A HUGE thank you to smanchac1 for hooking me up with a more than fair offer. You fucking rock!!!

I like your optimism.
there were a few available on the bay the day this started, of course those listings were removed when they found out that the pre sale lasted until June 24th.
I agree. My guess would be more along the lines of PJ20. Either way, it'll be doable.
I'd still rather lock one up sooner than later.

I never saw a sale after the presale, I think santos said there was not and will not be any sale.. It ende up pre sale only! I'm guessing well under 1000 were made

I never said anyone is a greedy jerk. And I'm pretty sure my chances of scoring one are exactly the same as they've always been.

Thanks man, I'll most likely end up doing that. I think I'll give this one a breather for a little while first though. I'm not trying to be a dick or make any enemies here, I swear!
In our own personal views, yes. You are correct.
WORD!
Correct again
I respect your opinion here, and anywhere else for that matter
I don't believe so..
