That's a great song off Vs. The reason I bring this up is because I have to have a blood test done today (fasting). Now I have that song on my mind, especially when the needle hits my arm today.

I say this all the time: If Ed's voice hadn't blown out for the Summer/Fall 95 tour, this would be without a doubt the best version ever:

Vocally you can point to any 93/94 show (St Petersburg and Atlanta come to mind), and of course you can always throw on Self Pollution Radio and be astounded by how Ed just rips it a new one:

One of my favorite little tidbits in the Pearl Jam canon, how Ed slips into third-person narration there for a second.

    This news to me!
It certainly does make more sense.
LOVE Blood, especially certain live versions. I pray to see it live someday and that Ed will still be able to do it justice if i do.

I hope you didn't start bumping your head back and forth, while they had the needle in your arm - that could have been quite painfull... Or starting screaming: "It is my blood", when they walked off with the tubes... ;) But yeah, great song.
  • I can't believe the first time I heard this song I didn't like it. Now I so want to hear it live. I like the live version I think from New Zealand that is on PJ20. I can watch that over and over.
