  • What about this woman?

She was asked very politely to move away from the scene where officers were attempting to do their work.
She then began to question the police as to why she should move and what work they were doing.
She began to demand the officers tell her what they were doing before she would comply.
She was then, as gently as possible considering she was kicking and biting, detained for her belligerence.

She was not asked to strip naked so they could look for dope. She was asked to leave an area that they wanted secure so they could carry out their business. Why should that simple request demand an explanation or justification?

Sorry... I don't see her as a hero standing up for her rights. I see her as someone who beligerently went looking for trouble and found it. Her gentle disposition changed the moment she got what she wanted and she used the opportunity to push her agenda.

based on the footage ... i would agree ...

but there were comments about how she is a veteran with some ptsd or something? ... there's probably more to this story ...

There might be. I'm not saying anything should be done with her... I'm saying the police handled the situation as well as they could considering she forced their hands.

  • I love how the crowd tried to taunt the police into doing something. I also find it amusing that because she is a Vet she should not be arrested. Does that mean since I am a Vet I can do whatever I feel? I know there are things that are wrong and be called out. This is not one of them.
