    They split the pot in half.

    Can we start another pool for the remaining 8 weeks?
    Start from scratch?
    Take me piece by piece.....

    Most pools do it this way (least the ones i've been in) whoever lasts the longest wins. Getting through the entire season without losing would be kinda hard to do. Although in one pool i'm few people did it a couple years ago. Still pretty difficult.

    Yeah we must have started with 14. I think 4 people(including Speedy) were eliminated in week 1 because they all took the Bears, lol. So then it was down to 10.

    Now had you taken the Redskins and been last man standing, then obviously you would win. That is a clear victory. I just don't agree with the two of you sharing the pot after both being eliminated in the same night. But that's just my opinion and I guess the rules say otherwise.

    I know last year me and 2 other guys split the pot because we were the last 3 left and we all lost on the same week. It seems like a fair way to do it since they lasted the longest and tied. If we can start another pool, count me in!

    This might be good time to try a redemption Island-type Survivor pool - if you get knocked out, you get a chance to get back in. Just suggesting it - I know no one is going to go for it!

    OK, I fucked that up. I thought OPJ was forcing me to create a new handle so I did and now I can't delete it. If it's possible to kick my extra entry out of the pool, please do. Otherwise, just ignore the one called "JTHredux" and I won't make a pick with it this week.

    So I thought picks had to be in by the start of Thursday's game. The official start of the weekend games, even if those teams are not picked? A slight advantage by not picking until those games are completed, virtually eliminating two possible winners/losers. Am I splitting hairs? Feel free to tell me I am wrong ;;)

    I don't see it being an advantage or a disadvantage, really. To me it just means you decided not to pick that game.
