Meet point was the Croc, there was no sneaking into this event, but the Croc bar was always open to anyone. Your name had to already be on the list. At about 5:30 they walked us (about 40 of us) over to Studio X. Best described as awkward/awesome. Pizza/salad/cookies/soft drinks served. 40 chairs facing 7 empty chairs on a slightly raised stage. At about 6:15 they played the album over an audio system. At the end we all applauded...no band in sight. Then a game of musical chairs where the winners were sent to assigned seats in the first two rows, and guests were sent toe the back rows. We were handed cards with our questions printed on them. Band walks in at 7:15 and the first winner asks his question. All 16 winners ask their questions; some neat insights from the band. 8:15 and questions are done. Groups of 10 are brought up to take a photo in front of the band. We get to interact with them for a few seconds. I ask Eddie where they are playimg tonight, "Ummmm, uhhhh, we have a big day tomorrow, have to go to the dentist". We are all ushered out by 8:35, Eddie pulls away in his car. Cool to see them in that environment, but would have been better had they play a song.

What did you think of the songs? What did you get to ask the band?

    what he said ^^

whole experience was pretty surreal...the band (with boom) sitting a few feet in front of you, forced to listen to your question..except, at least in my case, it wasn't the question i submitted...instead, i got probaly the lamest question of the night...and a pooly written question at that..."if you knew now what you knew before ten came out, what would you have done differently during the first few albums and why?"...i must've read that question 30 times and it never got better or coherent...i thought about editing it but i said fuck it and asked....well ive never seen six guys stare at me like i was speaking in tongues...so i shrug my shoulders and give them a kinda "sorry" look and ed comes to my rescue...he asks me to repeat it and instead i just hand it to him (he was directly in front of me)...and ed try's to decipher it and stone trys to give an answer but they knew it was a shitty question

a little while later, ed gave me a corona...so it's all good

Dude! That is hilarious!! You should have said it wasn't your question and seen what kind of conspiracy theories they came up with! That's almost more fun than asking your own question, just for their reactions! Too funny. Sounds like a once in a lifetime experience though. How exciting.

i'm shitty at reviews...especially after only one listen...but in my opinion, this album is a beast...lots of stuff going on, i think it's tracked really well...my only criticism is sleeping by myself shouldn't be on this album and i'm not a fan of future days...i also thing of the earth would have fit really well on the album

You should have said, "Ed, you sang in Red Mosquito "I I had Known Then, What I know Now", what did you mean by it?"

I think your question made sense, just a little wordy. I would expect they look at records differently knowing that 1,000,000 people will listen the week it is released versus 10,000 people.

Were there any video cameras around in there. This would be cool to see on the website (After it has aired on Sirius, of course). With what has been said about the evening, it would be cool to see some of the reactions of what was going on.

I think I am in a small minority, being 24 years old and having Pearl Jam be my favorite band. I think the kids my age are mostly listening to dubstep/electronic music or Macklemore. Sadly...

I'm 17 going to my second PJ show this tour. I wish more people my age were fans, but I'll gladly be an outcast to my generation as long as I can keep my PJ with me.

Agreed! I like there is something unique with us youngin's who are into Pearl Jam. While I wish there was more people my age who liked Pearl Jam, I also like the fact that I enjoy something different than most of my generation.
