I've been on a kick of downloading some sitcoms (mostly older one) lately and was curious to see some of everyone's favorites.

In particular order for me:

1. Friends
2. Seinfeld
3. Cheers
4. The Office
5. The Wonder Years

Big Bang Theory could easily fill a spot as well.

  • This is a list of personal favorites right?

    Seinfeld
    Cheers
News Radio (Phil Hartman years. . . . obviously)
    Arrested Development
    It's always Sunny in Philadelphia
(I wanted to say Night Court, or Wonder Years or something else I grew up with, but I don't think I have ever liked any of those as much as I like Sunny.)

Honorable mentions to Scrubs, Friends, Roseanne, Diff'rent Strokes. Charles in Charge was a big one for me. . . . Nicole Eggert? C'mon. . . (Edit: Modern Family is great, and one of my newer favorites, but it has a way to go to compete with these others)

If animated shows were counted, I would have replaced News Radio & Sunny w/ South Park & Simpsons, but I suppose they are more satire than sitcom.
  • The Bob Newhart Show
    It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
    The Jeffersons
    The IT Crowd

  • All in the Family
    MASH
    I love Lucy
    Frasier
    BBC's Keeping Up Appearances

And I loved Roseanne and Andy Griffith too
And the sun it may be shining . . . but there's an ocean in my eyes

Damn, forgot about Night Court - Funny stuff!!!
I really loved Wonder Years, but for some reason didn't think of it as a Sitcom.
Agree on Charles in Charge- Nicole Eggert was the reason I watched TV when that was on.
I also like Family Ties and Who's the Boss in my younger years
