Question about this. I knew they are ultra rare and limited to 1,000 copies, but I see on ebay there is a promo run of 200 copies that have a red stripe across where the number would be. Are these more rare than the numbered and what is the current value of this single? Pretty sure it's out of my price range but if anyone knows id appreciate the info. Thanks.

  • i saw that listing too. He seems to have a decent story, but for that amount of money anyone could make up a story. I do not know if there were any promo copies of love buzz released back then, they definitely could of been, but i do know a bunch of bootleg versions popped up on ebay a few years ago (not numbered, just blank "___/1000" ) . He very well could have one of those and used a marker to put the red stripe in it. i hope its real, because it would suck to spend over $1000 on something to find out its not legit. If it is legit, it would be quite the find.

Cool. Thanks for the info. It went for $1900. No way I could justify spending that much on a little 7" record since both songs are on With the Lights Out box set. I can enjoy them on that.
