Ladies: How pregnant is too pregnant for a PJ show?

Not trying to stir any kind of debate here, but part of the problem with buying tickets a gazillion years before the concert is ppl can get knocked up in the interim.

I've seen posts about being x amount of months preggo and therefore leaving a show early or getting seats vs. GA, so I'm wondering what the general opinion is from experienced mothers on how far into the pregnancy is attending a PJ show still doable?

I've never seen PJ during a pregnancy, but when I was preggo with my 2nd I did see 4 shows that summer...I was right around 8 months when I saw Ed solo, then a couple weeks after that was Soundgarden so I was pretty far along for those 2 shows. As long as you are comfortable and not jumping around in the pit, I see no problem. Just be prepared for bathroom breaks, can't really avoid it ;)

I skipped the 2003 shows because I was 7 months but I was incredibly uncomfortable at the time with very swollen legs and feet. With my second I would've gone to a show the day before I delivered. It all depends on how you're feeling and that's not something that can be predicted...
  • 4 days past due is too pregnant for a PJ show ;)

Kidding... I agree with the above post. As long as you're feeling A-OK. It would give your baby sweet bragging rights to his / her friends when they are older. " I saw PJ in utero."

Each to their own really. :) it's your decision, I skipped a couple of Soundwave concerts during my pregnancies but that was because they are kind of known to be a little rowdy and I was afraid of being bashed into. Also, I was worried about the heat, my epilepsy does not agree with it. So I guess it's really based on how you feel and the type of concert/venue. Don't feel guilted into not going, just do what you feel comfortable with. ;)

  • I agree with the others - although I would say that GA is probably not the wisest decision when pregnant (because it's too easy to be pushed and shoved which isn't great when pregnant.) If you had seats it depends entirely on how you feel which absolutely cannot be predicted. You might feel absolutely horrendous and not want to go, or you might feel fantastic and have the time of your life.

Yeah I agree, I'd be seeking seated too. ;)

seems like the general idea is to wait until the day of the show and see how the pregnant lady feels? and then if she feels like she can't do it try to sell the ticket on here or on the street or something?
