From Oceans to YL, THE CROWD .... the long wait was worth it.

    What a beautiful day it was.... It was a 12 year wait but SOOOOO worth it... I am faithful we won't have to wait that long again..
    Hold on to the thread.... so awesome. Great memories. I still think this is my favourite boot.

    I took a day trip today and the only cd I took with me was the Calgary 2005 show. I listened to it 3 times. What an amazing and special show! I will always get chills after Given to Fly when the crowd just goes off! Thank God I had the privilege of being there. Happy Anniversary all!

    What a great show. Left from Bozeman, Mt @ 7p.m. on the 3rd, 10 glorious metric hours later we were in Calgary. What a BEAUTIFUL city!!!! My buddy and i walk around downtown all day before the show, meet some really cool people. We parked above the Saddledome(on the hill). INCREDIBLE view of the entire city!!!
    Then there was the show. Oceans to open, WOW! This was also about 5 days after Katrina, Ed told a story about how they recorded some down in New Orleans, and he was sure the place was gone, great version of Red Misqutio. Then Black;"we belong together". Ed made a reference to a girl in the front who had a sign, it was her 100th show; he said that was pretty good, since he'd only been to 101; then they played Thumbing My Way. Then Slieght, and Hard To Imagine. Then the best version of Betterman I have ever seen live, the pause at the begining, then to end with I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend. Incredible!!!!!!! Then RITFW, and Yellowlead with the house lights on.
    This was my buddy's 1st time to see them, needless to say he is now addicted..........he's been to 3 more shows with me since then.
