This is my favourite slam - mainly because of the night matches and the NY crowd ... although I would like to see the fifth set not decided by tie-break ...

some great tennis ... nadal is playing awesome ... isner/monfils was a great match last night too ...

A few decent matches so far, these things tend to get better as the rounds go by.

    semis almost on us ...

nadal is killing it last night ... pretty bad when you make it into the quarters and you only win 5 points the entire first set ...

i think wawrinka can give murray a run today if he can handle the pressure ... a rafa vs. novak final would be awesome ... hopefully, novak makes it there and he is too tired to play davis cup ...
  • didnt catch up with this at all..hope ill watch next matches

relatively speaking ... hasn't been a lot of great matches ... last night was supposed to be federer and nadal at night ... instead we got robredo looking like a deer in headlights against nadal who wanted to win every point ...
  • Dream match up on Monday.
    I'm hoping Nadal gets lucky # 13.
This could be a 5 set marathon.

I love tennis. Anyone who claims it is anything less than 2 warriors, alone, battling it out is crazy.

    Congrats Rafa!

the man's will to win is second to none ...

earlier in the open ... j. mcenroe actually called him one of the best volleyers ... pretty out there but the guy has an amazing all around game ...

Yeah, something about the guys demeanor has always put me off a bit but it's tough when you are compared to a guy like Federer who carries himself so well. I am coming around though and was definitely pulling for him last night, aside from a few minutes in the second set.
