    80% of the time I will be listening to the Album on a portable player (phone, ipod, etc)...I can re-arrange as I see fit.

    I logged into Fakebook & had a half a dozen notifications from Pearl Jam that were
    all photos that seemed to be released in stages.
    No clue what's going on, I see stuff about track listings but I can't tell if there are song samples being released as well.

    Does the Dr. have a source for this?

    I agree that the order that the tracks are revelaed probably has nothing to do with their album order. And I don't see why the expectation is that the band reveals it's tracklisting in order. I would expect them to release the tracks we already know about, then reveal the other tracks, and then put them in order.

    I think that releasing the track listing is cool, but hiding songs everywhere (both online and in the real world) for people to find would be way cooler.

    I remember during Year Zero, Nine Inch Nails had USB keys that fans were finding everywhere. Something like that would be super crazy. I would love that.

    I really can't wait for this album to hurry up and drop. :)

    They should let the fans decide which order the songs should be in after all the track names are revealed.

    It's not like they have an inside scoop, they're just guessing based on the number of tracks how long this will take. Also, are people really excited by song titles? Give me some music then we have something to talk about.

    No, they don't, but a good source of info nonetheless.
    Educated guesses are good, just ask science.

    i care very much about track order. i'm not saying they shouldn't put FD first but from what we've heard it would just be and odd choice to open and album. you don't think so?

    I think track order is important but mostly for the first and last song. Which is why I think Future Days to be a very odd choice. I don't think it will end up being the first track.
