    I remember thinking "cool, alt legends Sonic Youth" when I heard they'd be opening in 2000. It was one of the worst musical experiences of my life. To say that they were awful is too kind.

    Eddie Vedder is such a huge fan of theirs and I remember listening to a boot and EV referencing how the crowd had filled in and seemed disgusted that there were so few people when Sonic Youth was playing, I think it may of been Virginia Beach, VA 2000
