This performance has shown up on a couple of DVD's and I love watching/listening to it every time I see it!

    WAKE UP! :D

Yeah- 'twould be very cool to see Ed and the boys cover this.

Well...Ed has already bared his meaty musical chops when it comes to that band.

Sidenote, I always thought that Sinatra could've done some kickass covers of the Doors.

Crystal Ship, Love Street, Moonlight Drive, Wishful Sinful.

And on the flipside...Morrison crooning Summer Wind, My Way. Etc.

I think all three (among others) have that throaty range to dip their musical toes into other waters.

Sinatra doing Peace Frog would be cool.

The footage of Ed with the Doors when he played with the surviving members at their induction to RRHF was very good. Would love to have seen more of Ed with Manzarek/Krieger/Densmore a few or more years further down the road. Also, Ed's done some great work with John Densmore. I wish there was more footage of the two of them playing together.

True! Morrison was a huge Sinatra fan (and Elvis earlier on.)

OK- somebody tie this in with AMT/current events. :corn:
