Just a little food for thought...

I had always believed that...

Could "Spelled my t-shirt" be "spill my diction" - - What I always thought it was... and for me, makes it a more intelligent lyric...

    I thought he sang, "spilled my tincture." In the glossary of terms in the booklet, I think tincture is in there, and knowing Ed is a wine fan...I tend to be wrong, though.

    It's tincture. I'm 100 percent positive of this.

    You are right, spilled my tincture... does make sense considering Ed's wine drinking...
