found Tokyo 3/3/03 at store last night

what a great sounding show! release is probably one of the best i've heard in a long time! the sound on those shows is second to none. gotta love how quiet those crowds are.

    good pick up.

    in addition to the tokyo show from the '03 boots, you can still find the australia show & the 2 MSG shows in stores.

    wish the same could be said about the '00 shows.

    You can still find State College as well. Awesome boot.
    I agree about the 2000 shows. I pick them up used whenever I can. I found an indie store in a small town who had Oslo, Milan, London, Boston, Jones Beach, and West Palm Beach still new and sealed for $12. I bought them all. It made for a nice day.

    Agreed, the Tokyo boot is awesome!

    When I first heard it I was bothered by the fact that the crowd was pretty much silent, and as a result, I hated it at first.

    But since then I have come to love it. The silence of the crowd almost makes the show feel like a very cool alternate studio recording. Whenever one of the Tokyo comes up when my iPod is on shuffle I have to double-check to make sure it's not a studio version that I don't remember having. :)

    Yeah, alot of the time I enjoy hearing the crowd on the boots. But it's a nice alternative to hear how clear the band really sounds on this, songs like Release and Given To Fly sound beautiful. I even like how Last Kiss sounds on this boot believe it or not.

    The local Best Buy still has all six (?) 2003 boots that were released to stores.
    I am lost, I'm no guide. But I'm by your side...
