I recently changed my avatar photo to a picture of my wife and I but the photo made us look wider than tall so I went by to my original avatar photo and now it too is wider than it should be. Any idea how to correct this?

And now, without doing a thing on my part, my avatar photo has reverted to the too-wide photo of my wife and I. What the...?

I still see the distorted picture of my wife and I and cannot change my avatar back. Any suggestions?

Have you deleted the board cookies and cleared your browser cache? And when you changed the avatar photo, click on the blue "click here" on the top of the page. My photo right now is not distorted, it has a measure of 135 x 101 px. I agree, it has been easier with the measures of the photo on the old website. You could just upload any pic and it got fixed so it fit. Dunno why that doesn't work anymore... I see the guitar player next to the bus as your avatar.

How do I delete my board cookies?

The weird thing is, everyday I go to my account and reset my avatar and the photo of me playing guitar in the desert comes back and the next morning I log on and there's me and my wife in that horribly distorted picture. This is very, very strange!

Edit: I just found the button to click to delete all board cookies and did so then reset my avatar photo. However, who knows what tomorrow may bring.
