WTF ??? Are they using background animations ??

    Yeeeah it´s like a real rockband!!!!!??????? Looks cool tough. Maybe in a few years they have big screens, "snake-pit" pyros and dancers with them - hope not.

    They could just be gobos. They are put right into the light rigs to create the patterns. They probably didn't want to have the empty seats behind them as the background. It also prevents their normal light show to look right. I sort of like the patterns.
    We're still making records for people who listen to it all the way through, eyes closed, in that space.

    They probably didn't have their regular lighting rigs with them since that stuff is probably all still in Australia. It would be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to air freight that much equipment.

    They probably rented whatever lighting equipment they used and only transported the bare minimum from Australia

    It was a screen with phsychadelic patterns and whatnot flowing over the screen, they used these during 98. If this makes them less of a band than they really do need to sell pearl jam medicine in the goods section, because you guys are nuts.

    I didnt like eds shirt either, it was too new looking, I think I am quiting the ten club

    fuck this new age shit.

    My husband is a lighting designer. We were at the show ... he says it's the same rig Keeley used throughout the tour. The white backdrop was because there weren't seats, that's obvious and the patterns are gobos. The first pic was gobo #2 on a mac 2000. haha he's such a geek... but I love him!
