New Foo Fighters album in 2014

I am in no rush for that, especially with the new music Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam and other artists will release this year as well as other stuff, but I still can't wait to see what Foo Fighters will have in store next year:

    I wonder if there will be constant screaming, songs with cliched sayings as titles and four minute mid tempo rockers ready blare out of your radio's speakers. :lol:

    If I never heard/seen Dave Grohl's music/face again in my life I wouldn't give a shit. The Foos aren't the best thing in rock like everyone claims. They're not bad, and Dave seems like a cool guy, but he is OVEREXPOSED to the point that it's sickening.

    I could definitely see that being the tagline in ads for the album.

    I mostly agree. I've always dug a few Foo's tunes, but they're definitely not the most interesting band out there.

    His cool guy persona took a big hit, for me, after watching Back and Forth and Sound City. They both have some pretty cool stuff, but at a certain point in both movies Grohl's ego got in the way.

    I'm sure the next FF album will have a couple pretty cool tunes and several throwaways.

    I kinda lost interest in them after One by One which I love, but then I saw Back and Forth and was blown away. Loved Wasting Light. I think the music world is a better place with Dave in it. I don't love everything he does but I appreciate his passion.

    same here. while I'd rather have a new tcv record first, I'm still excited for new foos too!

    They make great albums, this is what I like about the Foos. Start to finish can always listen to the whole thing.

    I still cannot believe this is real. Just got approval from my supervisor to change my schedule to 9 hour days so I have off May 5th! FOOS in 25 days!!
